Making salts
When you neutralize an acid, there will always be a salt made in the neutralization. No matter what the acid is reacting with, in a neutralization there will always be a salt produced
The salt is based on the type of acid in the neutralization, for example, if you are using sulfuric acid, the equation is:
Sulfuric acid: H2SO4 + NaOH --> Na2SO4 + H2O
For different acids, there will be different salts produced
